About Suzanne
For nearly 25 years, I have been drawn to the study and practice of Buddhism, including over a decade immersed in Vajrayana—the profound tantric path most closely associated with Tibet.
I’ve had the extraordinary good fortune of studying under Lama Palden Drolma, a modern Vajrayana master who uniquely transmits profound lineage teachings to the Western mind through the Sukhasiddhi Foundation’s depth program of study. In 2022, I began a Community Dharma Leadership Training Program. I am deeply honored to serve as the Coordinator for the 2026 Pilgrimage to Bhutan with the Sukhasiddhi Foundation and Lama Palden. This journey offers a precious opportunity to return to my spiritual home and reconnect with the highly realized master, Khandro Dorje Phagmo Rinpoche.
In recent years, I have also dedicated time to serving the Buddhist Prison Ministry, beginning as a volunteer “Homework Buddy,” supporting incarcerated individuals in their study of the Buddha Dharma. Over time, my role has expanded to assisting its founder, Rev. Susan Shannon, as the organization continues to grow. This work has been a profound source of blessing, guidance, and inspiration in my own path.
Through study, practice, and service, I hope to be of any benefit by supporting others in discovering the sacredness available that the Dharma continually points to—arising from the “inner sanctuary” that already exists within each of us.
